There are many different types of bass, but when it comes to the most popular that would have to be the largemouth, especially if you are bass fishing in Florida. Largemouth bass can get huge, up to 20 pounds or more so hold on if you hook one.

Although bass are very fun and popular to catch, they are not the only fish in the river. Two other types of freshwater fish that are sought out by anglers are catfish and bullheads. There are a couple of reasons for this, as they are very fun to catch, and also they are very delicious to eat also. They still do not compare to bass in popularity though by a long shot.
